Below you will find two different areas, KS3 & KS4 task.
Once you have completed your tasks hand it into the Head of Geography and gain points towards a fantastic trip to Escape Rooms, Wild Wadi or Ski Dubai.
Geography KS3 Stretch & Challenge task
Challenging yourself in Geography is all about independent learning.
Geography is everywhere, not just in the classroom!
Observe the world and how it connects with your lessons, ask questions about the Physical and Human Geography you see and try to work out your own answers- maybe through creating your own investigation.
What can you do to challenge yourself in KS3?
- Complete the extension tasks made available in your lessons.
- Independent research on the topics you are learning about.
- Ask questions about what you see and hear in the classroom- don't take everything the teacher says for granted!
- Keep up to date with current affairs.
- Take part in the Geography trips available.
- Join Eco Club and become a Kings’ Eco Warrior!
What can you do to challenge yourself in KS4?
- Complete the extension tasks made available in your lessons.
- Practice past exam questions. See your teacher.
- Revision materials, case study notes and extra reading.
- Independent research on the topics you are learning about- remember place specific detail helps you reach the higher grades at GCSE and A Level.
- Ask questions about what you see and hear in the classroom- don't take everything the teacher says for granted!
- Take part in the Geography Trips available.
- Keep up to date with current affairs.
